William Richardson

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, William “Will” Richardson is an attorney with over two decades of legal expertise, primarily practicing in Georgia. His career spans various aspects of litigation, with a particular focus on cases involving automobile accidents, trucking and commercial vehicle crashes, nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, shooting victims, and personal injury.

Will embarked on his legal journey by defending criminal defendants charged with a wide array of offenses, from technical driving under the influence to serious felonies such as drug trafficking, armed robbery, arson, fraud, and homicide. His tenure as a prosecutor provided invaluable courtroom experience, during which he successfully led numerous jury trials involving complex felonies.

After nearly fourteen years in criminal law, Will transitioned to civil litigation, where he defended clients in personal injury actions on behalf of a major Fortune 500 company. This role afforded him valuable insights into the inner workings of insurance companies, further enhancing his litigation prowess.

As a member of the legal community, Will is associated with several organizations, including the State Bar of Georgia, United States District Court Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Dekalb Bar Association, and the Gate City Bar Association.

Will earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Alabama before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law. His academic background, coupled with his extensive courtroom experience, positions him as a formidable advocate for his clients’ rights and interests.
